kay, kay, kay everyone! I've not done much movie posting lately I know, but I have had a very hectic life lately! Anyway not the point! So tonight up for review! DONNIE DARKO!I admit a few weeks ago was the first time I'd see in. I'm totally ashamed of myself considering I love movies so much and this is truly a cult classic. But now I've seen it I'm even more ashamed I missed out on such an amazing movie for so long. anyway Donnie Darko is set in the 80s but was made in 2001. It's about a schizophrenic anti-social teenager. Just before a near death experience Donnie begins seeing a 6 foot tall bunny rabbit, who through the movie convinces him to commit various crimes. Frank, the bunny, begins telling Donnie the end of the world is coming and he only has 28 days (at the begining of the movie). And that's really all I can say without ruining the movie for you. I personally love Donnie and would recommend it to anyone. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Next review up is s.Darko.But please do NOT watch the trailer till after you've seen Donnie or it will ruin everything. The sort of sequel to Donnie Darko, only it's about his younger sister Samantha. It is set 8 years after the Donnie Darko. Little is still known about s.Darko. But we do know I will be released in '09Jackson Rathbone will play a major roleIt will be very similar to Donnie DarkoAnd The same actress who played Samantha in Donnie Darko will be returning in s.Darko to continue her role. Though no other Darko's are returning.

And the moment we've all waited for.(not really) The s.Darko dvd was released nation wide May 12th. Today I bought and watched and let me say wtf lol it was fantastic. Granted it wasn't as good as the first cause some the occurrences aren't explained BUT it was great. With once again the moral theme being self-sacrifice. Though the ending was confusing cause it isn't clear or not if the characters know what happened or not. I <3 Iraq Jack btw. lol he's amazing. And Jeremy (Jackson Rathbone's character) was well understated and did not live up to the expectations I had for him. Though Jackson's acting was as usual sublime.

I rented it yesterday and got to watching it this morning.
Haha, I just wanted to go hug Jeremy XD XD I don't know, he was all dorky and people were mean to him. I do think it should have been a stronger role, for Jackson could take on anything.
I have not seen Donnie Darko (shame on me, yes) but after seeing s. Darko, I think I'll be seeing it very soon.

Miss Jasper!!!!! How could you no watch Donnie first. Lol Well you have to watch it. It explains ALOT of the craziness in s.Darko. Plus s.Darko totally ruins the end of Donnie Darko. Oh well. Lol it has Jake Gyllenhol (or however you spell his name) which makes it all the better =]
