"I see." she said "I don't think I'll get used to that...I like the sun." she sighed "Does a day go by where it isn't cloudy out here?" she asked squishing the sand between her toes.

David looked at Michelle. "Well, there are those days. They are bound to happen soon because it is getting closer to summer. But, I haven't been here since I was a child, so I really don't remember how frequently we got them." David looked back out to see the waves coming in a bigger set of series now. Soon it would be high tide.

Leah looked up at Michelle when she talked about the sun. Leah had been waiting forever for it to come out. It had seemed like years since she last saw it. "All I know is that I would love if the sun came with-in the next couple days or so." Leah said with a little laugh.

"I'd like the sun to come." she said "I miss it greatly, where my broading school was we had sun all the time."

"Oh, how I would love to go there. Where was it?" Leah asked Michelle curiously. It sounded like it would be just the place for her. Not only was there sun, but she would be able to get away from her brother.

"Hey, you better not leave. A bunch of people including me would be very upset." David said as he playfully nudged Leah with his shoulder. "But, where was that place? It does sound very nice." David said. He would never visit it though, for his own safety and the safety of all the other vampires.

"It is in Lititz, PA." she said "It was an awesome place. We have a chocolate factory near us as well as this amazing pretzels place...it is also in amish country." she said.

"Hm. I might have to visit there one day." David said. First, I have to find out if it ever rains there, what days and all that. He thought to himself in a sinking mood. Being a vampire did stink sometimes. But, at other, it did have it's advantages.

Leah nodded when Michelle and then David spoke. It did sound great there. Then, Leah noticed David's finishing tone. She would talk with him later about that. "Yeah. So, why did you leave? It sounds great there. Especially, why did you leave and come here? The least sunniest place in the world." Leah said trying to put emphasis on the sunniest place part.

"I came here cause my dad wanted me to live with them again. My mom and dad kept my brothers home and going to public schools cause they were all in football and sports so they didn't want to go after girls, in my dads terms, he wants us all to get scholarships and everything, so they sent me away to a boarding school cause they, meaning my parents, thought that it would be better if I went to an all girls school, so I had no time to think about dating and all that other stuff, and now that my brothers are moving out and going to college they want me home."

David shook his head at this statement. Then, he closed his eyes and started to think about his sister. Then, his parents popped into his mind. Though they didn't know about him turning into a vampire, they were long dead now. But, his sister did know. He had showed her on accident. He hoped that the last time he saw her, the vampire that he was with didn't change her.
Flashback
"Come on, I have someone that you need to meet."
"David, I don't wanna go out right now. I look like shit."
"Lizzie. You don't, and besides. She is just in the back yard."
"Fine. But, she better not be another one of your 'friends'."
As he led her into the backyard, he told Lizzie all about his friend. That was when it went wrong.
"I thought when you said eating you meant someone outside your family?"
"Steph, please. I never said you could eat."
"Ohh, but I am really hungry."
David pushed his sister behind him as Steph got into a tracking position. That's when the fight between the two happened. Instead of him yelling to his sister to go inside he yelled run. As his sister ran off, Steph calmed down. Then later that night as David was about to leave his sister had another word with him.
"I don't care if I am in danger from your vampire friends. Just don't leave. You know mom and dad would be heartbroken."
"Lizz. I love all of you. But, I don't want to put you in danger anymore."
David went over to his sister and gave her a kiss on the forehead before leaving.
Out of Flashback
David never saw his sister again. Nor did he see Steph. But, he knew Steph stayed in the area. He had just been hoping that she had followed him instead of staying near their house. Of course his mom and dad died the following day in a car accident and he had heard tales around the neighborhood saying how his sister went to live with family. I hope they were right.

Leah shook her head. "That's cool. It's like a family reunion." She said to Michelle.

"Yeah," she nodded "I would have rather stayed there and finished out school, I don't know anyone here and at least there I knew people, so I wouldn't be alone like I am now...or was until I met the two of you." she said.

David nodded his head as if agreeing. "Yeah, I was new here too. Until I met Leah, then Leila, and then you. The only other person I would like to meet now is my sister. If that's even possible." He said as he looked out into the ocean.

Leah laughed a little. "Well, I was sort of born here. Sooo..." Leah left that with a cliff-hanger. She was pretty popular but she didn't want to say that.
